I am a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and professional dog trainer with 7 years experience training dogs in basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, and sport/working dogs.
 

My career began in animal welfare where I managed a local animal shelter while simultaneously earning my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and passing board exam for my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) in Connecticut in 2020. I spent two years apprenticing under a retired K9 handler before stepping into a full time training position. From 2020-2024, I was placed in charge of board-and-train programs, group classes, and private lessons in a high-volume training facility.

I have continued to expand my knowledge through mentorships, seminars, and hands-on training with experienced working dog professionals. My interests include behavior rehabilitation and working dogs.

After becoming a mom, I founded K9 Ethix to provide individualized, ethical training while still having time to be present for my family. Whether your goal is a well-mannered family dog, behavior modification, or working dog development, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals!

Rescue dogs have a special place in my heart. I have partnered with Wallingford Animal Control to offer free board & train services to shelter dogs as well as future discount service to adopters to give these dogs the best chance at succeeding in their new homes.
